We are looking for a Color Matcher to join our Coatings team in Whitehouse, OH.

As a colorist, you will be responsible for the creation of refinish color formulae.  This includes the formulation of new colors and the adjustment of existing colors, as well as weighing and applying paint.  Your work will provide our customers the color formulae which drive our business.  As part of the global Refinish business you will have regular interactions with colleagues located in North America, Europe, and Asia.

As a Color Matcher - Automotive Refinish, you create chemistry by...

• Developing color solutions for the global refinish organization, following established guidelines and laboratory practices, and utilizing resources in an efficient manner
• Supporting all safety, health and environmental policies and objectives in the routine activities of the color laboratory
• Supporting customers as needed; this may include visiting customer locations to assist with color matching problems
• Driving change and engaging in innovation and digitalization projects in color

If you...

• Hold a High School diploma or equivalent 
• Have 5+ years experience in color matching, preferably in automotive coatings (highly desired)
• Are knowledgeable of the automotive refinish business from both the technical and business side
• Are capable of working in a lab for much of the day with some physical activity
• Can work comfortably in a team environment and effectively on an individual basis, utilizing your good verbal and written communication skills
• Possess basic computer skills and are comfortable with email, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
• Have the ability to handle changing priorities to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
