Asheville Cottages is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our team. We are a luxury vacation rental company located in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. Our company prides itself on providing our guests with exceptional stays and experiences, and we are looking for someone who can help us continue to meet and exceed these standards through our data analysis.

As a Data Analyst Intern at Asheville Cottages, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our management team and gain valuable hands-on experience in the vacation rental industry. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to help us make data-driven decisions and improve our overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources including our booking software, customer surveys, and website analytics.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will help guide our business strategy.
  • Create reports and visualizations to present findings to the management team.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve business processes and customer experiences.
  • Continuously monitor and track data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to optimize business operations.
  • Assist with ad-hoc data analysis projects and other tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, or Tableau.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for using data to drive business decisions.
