Join Us as a Facilities Electrical & Building Systems Technician

Picture your day: you review overnight tickets, walk the site to spot issues before they become problems, and dive into hands-on work—installing conduit, tracing circuits, tuning HVAC, and updating building automation setpoints. You interpret blueprints and rough sketches with ease, then pivot to troubleshoot a fire alarm fault or a door-access issue. By afternoon, you’re performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, coordinating a chemical change-out, and lending a hand with snow removal after a quick safety huddle.

What You’ll Tackle

• Facility systems mastery: Install, maintain, and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and painting-related needs across buildings and structures.
• Electrical work end-to-end: Installation of wiring, fixtures, conduits, and pipes; ongoing maintenance; repair and replacement; and thorough testing to ensure safe, compliant operation with state and local codes.
• Automation & life-safety: Operate and troubleshoot building controls including Johnson Controls Management System, Fire Control Systems, Alarm Systems, and Building Access Systems.
• Manufacturing support: Perform complex skilled maintenance and preventive maintenance on production equipment; complete chemical change-outs and replenishment for manufacturing areas.
• Site care: Maintain grounds and roadways; assist with cardboard baling, landscaping/mowing, snow and ice removal, office/equipment moves, and chemical handling.
• Inspection & documentation: Perform periodic and special inspections; work from blueprints, drawings, and rough sketches; document work to ISO expectations.
• Safety first: Participate in safety training and follow all policies and practices; Hazardous Materials Handling training may be required.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade certificate in Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC preferred.
• 10+ years of maintenance technician experience spanning electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Hands-on experience with building management control systems plus fire and burglar alarm systems.
• HVAC maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• General knowledge of ISO requirements related to document/record control, infrastructure, property management, and preventive maintenance supporting product manufacture (preferred).
• High initiative and strong work ethic; valid Driver’s License required.

• Highly active role requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
